Get lit with us at The Chandler with our signature candle making workshop! Our amazing chandlers will teach you the ins and outs of candle making, guide you through our fragrance exploration, and help you make any candle from our vessel selection. Candles set overnight with us and will be ready to pick up as early the following day. Not local? We got you! We can ship your candles for a flat rate. BYOB with DORA from one of the many local bars down Broadway. So grab some friends, grab a drink, and meet us for a one of a kind candle making experience.
WORKSHOP POLICIES

Register in advance to guarantee your seats. Walk-ins are not always available.

Registration for workshops close 15 minutes prior to workshop time.

Ages 15 and up

Aged 14 and below require a chaperone

Pickup candles next day or ship for a flat rate

Time frame - Up to one and a half hours

Capacity - 12 people

No outside alcohol permitted unless purchased from a DORA bar and served in a DORA cup.

Private events for corporate parties, birthdays, gatherings, and other events are available (separate service fees may apply). Contact us to book your private event.
Please read through our policies before registering for a workshop:

1) Age limitations
​
Unless otherwise indicated, workshops at The Chandler are designed for adults ages 15 and older. Because our candle workshops are BYOB with DORA, involve high temperatures with clothes staining colorant and oil, and are intended for adults, we aim to create an adult friendly atmosphere.
​
Select workshops are hosted each month for our Junior Chandlers and intended for kids.
​
2) Punctuality
​
Life happens, we understand totally and you run late from time to time. Although we won't send you to the principals office for being late, please be aware that workshops start promptly at the designated time.
​
If you are going to be late*, please call the shop ahead of time and let us know, otherwise we may begin the workshop without you and we don't want to do that!
​
*If you or any members of your group are going to be over 15 minutes late, we ask that you reschedule for a later date to allow us a chance to book your open seats. You can easily reschedule your workshop via your confirmation email prior to the workshop start time.
Workshops typically run for 1 hour.
Private Workshops: If you are interested in a private group workshop with custom times or additional content, like food and outside BYOB or for a complete on location experience for weddings, birthdays, or company events, please contact us at hello@thechandler.co so we can plan your private event.

3) Cancellation Policy

You may modify your reservation anytime by simply using the prompts within your workshop confirmation email to either reschedule or cancel your workshop. OR call use in store at 614-887-8381 and we will be more than happy to assist.

4) Changing Class Dates
​
In the event that something comes up and you need to change your workshop registration, you can easily reschedule your workshop via your confirmation email prior to the workshop start time.
​
5) Candle Pick-Up
​
The candles you make in class will cure overnight at The Chandler, and are ready to be picked up the next day following your workshop. Because of the limited space to store candles, any candles not picked after 1 week may be clearanced off without refund, so please make arrangements to pick up before the end of the week!
